Switzerland?! 🇨🇭
This trip was a very random one! When I was a Youth Leader at my Church, 3 of us were given the opportunity to attend a seminar over the course of 5 days. Absolutely nothing shouted ideal about this trip but, life is short and I’m trying to see the world, so TO THE SWISS ALPS! 🏔
Little 2 hour journey from London to Zurich, very easy. We got there and was greeted by gentlemen from the seminar, jumped in a van and whew THE VIEWS. 🖼My goodness, that whole journey on the way to the accommodation was like driving through a pretty landscape painting.
Since the trip was for a seminar, there was a lot of lectures and talking. We were up early and sleeping late; I was squeezing in naps anytime I could just to ease my tired brain.
The food overall was a very new experience. Very different! We had the typical European breakfasts; cheese, meats, bread and fruits. 🍇 Which was actually quite nice. When it came to dinner however, the Swiss have a unique palette. 🙃
On one particular day we climbed inside a cave of one of the mountains. Truly breath-taking. I just had to give credit to awesome artist and architect that is God. 🙌🏾
We even shared a charming BBQ, indulging in a delicious dinner and s’mores! A delightful union between chocolate biscuits and marshmallow 🤤
Switzerland in general is quite chilly, but the views are definitely worth it. EPIC. The Swiss Alps just confirmed to me the existence of God, this world is way too beautiful to be created ‘by accident’. No sir. The experience was truly lovely, I met some lovely people and shared quality time with the girls I was sharing a room with. 💕
The country generally opened my eye to the possibility of visiting the rest of Europe. Maybe it is worth exploring…
